Welcome to our farm! We are breeders of the magical Gypsy Vanner Horse. We have three mares and strive to show and breed the best foals possible.
Take a look at our photo on the cover of the 20 Anniversary
Edition of The Vanner Magazine! We are thrilled!
January 2016 - Glory attended the 2015 Feathered Horse Classic Nationals, where she took National Reserve Champion 3 year old Mare. Glory also took 3rd in the National Walk/Trot Open English, 4th in National Bred by Owner, and 6th in National Western Pleasure W/J. We are so very pleased with her! Glory and her 2/3 sister Winnie also attended the regular FL FHC, where Glory placed in three of her driving classes, and Trail in hand and under saddle. Glory and Winnie together took 2nd in Produce of dam for Rose Petal, and Winnie took a third in yearling fillies at her very first FHC!
July 2015 - Glory attended the NC FHC and took ribbons in five of her eight classes, included a second in Three-year-old mares and a second in bred by owner. She also placed in both of her driving classes and in Green Horse Western Pleasure W/T. We are very proud of her! Now we are pointing her towards the Perry FHC in October.
June 2015 - Glory is off getting trained to ride and drive! Expect to see her at the NC Feathered Horse Classic in July! Also, Moonflower is off on a new adventure being leased out. We hope this might become a permanent arrangement for her!
May 2015 - we had photographer Mark Barrett out to photograph our girls. Check their pages (and see above!) for some new photos!
March 2015 - we welcomed our newest foal, a filly by Latcho Drom's Caymus out of our Rose Petal, on March 28. This filly, named Wine & Roses, was born around 6:08 pm to lots of fanfare. She had 11 visitors within the first hour or two of her life! She is extremely friendly and smart and is already well into her foal training. This stunning girl is for sale!
November 2014 - Morning Glory and Moonflower both attended an open all-breed show put on by the North Florida Arabian Club. This was their first all breed show. Both competed in halter and in the trail class. Moonflower brought home a 4th against all breeds/sexes in the yearling class! They were both a hit at the show as they were the only Vanners present. Everyone wanted their photos taken with the girls!
January 2014 - we took Morning Glory and Moonflower to the FL Feathered Horse Classic in Jacksonville, FL. Glory took second in the two year old class out of six horses, and made her debut in the Dressage Suitability in Hand class. This was a new class for her, and although she didn't place (out of 25 horses of all ages!) we thought the new experience was good for her. This was Moonflower's first show and first time off the farm. She took third in the yearling fillies class and fifth in the Amateur mares class of all ages! Glory and Moonflower together took a fourth for produce of dam for their mom Rose Petal!
